By snowshoes from AK on 02/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Describe Yourself: Gym Rat, Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good shoes, attractive and useful. Good traction for AK winter so far and dry quickly. Your foot sits up high, but that isn't a problem.

By cowgirl meg from Medford OR on 01/22/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Durable, Great Traction, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Muddy Conditions, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete, Gym Rat, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I already own a pair of Vasque low hikers and these are very similar but a lighter weight for running. Have not got them really wet yet. They did feel a bit stiff in the sole the first time I ran in them but maybe just need a little break-in time. Fit is true to size.
By Jigger from Harrisville RI on 01/19/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Cons: Can't really find one Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Mixed Terrain Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete, Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these to walk outside on the snowey & icey sidewalks and roads. I really haven't use them outside yet cuz it's been sooooooooo stinking cold!! But I have worn them around town and they do seem to have good traction. They are comfy and break in no problem. Can't wait to get out walking to really test them but think they'll be fine!
By PDXoutdoors from Portland, OR on 12/31/2008 Pros: Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: Everyday, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I buy this brand because it fits my feet - I wear size 11 but these shoes still have a normal to narrow width and fits my heel well. The shoes are comfortable and built for athletic outdoor use with good support. The style looks great, too!
By gypsea from Bellevue WA on 12/29/2008 Pros: Durable, Great Traction Cons: Not flexible, Not Water Resistant Best Uses: Muddy Conditions, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Gym Rat, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been running for 25 years and this is my first pair of true trail running shoes. I've only used them twice, once in ankle deep snow (with gaiters). My feet stayed dry and were fairly comfortable. They are quite stiff/rigid and I will not wear them for pavement running if I can avoid it. I think the stiffness will pay off on uneven trails. I will test them out on a 12 mile New Years day trail run; I suspect there will be some hot spots, just because they are so stiff.
By Baking and Bounding along from Spokane, WA on 11/29/2008 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Everyday, Mixed Terrain, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was nervous about the color, but really liked this unusual red. (and I never wear red). The shoes are light and built well. I like that they do not come up too high on my ankle, but are still supportive. Traction is excellent for running, but I can also wear them to work ( 8 hours on my feet).

By Shakah the dog from Albuquerque, NM on 11/08/2008 Pros: Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent Cons: Not Durable/Wears Easily Best Uses: At The Gym, Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes slipped on my heel and seemed to be made of plastic-like poor materials. The support may have been sufficient but I was unsatisfied overall.
