It would be so classier if the seams were finished and on the inside of the garment. I predict much fraying and lots of ironing. I returned it.

That said, this is not a costume-y look at all, & the styling of the frayed seaming(which I love) contrasts well with the stiffness of the outer fabric so that the skirt can be dressed up or down & look appropriate (as opposed to looking like you threw on a pair of heels with casual skirt & called it dressy). The cut is both flattering & comfy - structured enough at the waist to be slimming but not so structured that you get a tummy bulge if you're having a not-so-thin day. I got the red & love it - it's strong but not bright.

The material is hard on the skin. I have very sensitive skin so the material makes me itchy. You're going to need an iron for this one. It's really poofy like a ballerina skirt. Not flattering.

It's enough to make me skeptical about re-ordering and ending up with another skirt in the same condition.

I was disappointed by the proportions, which were too hippy and full for me. It was underwhelming.
