The sole has an interesting design which provides a lot of stablility and comfort. The shoes are very soft. Color at first glance looks brown. Quality is great. The only drawback is that the shoes are a little wide and gap on the sides a bit, not a bad thing when you're on your feet a lot or traveling.

The only con I would say is that the shoes gap a bit on the sides which is something I don't like to see on any shoe and it makes the shoe feel a little too big. Other than that, the shoe is my favorite addition to my NY walking commuter gear.
