By cold weather friend from upstate NY on 01/02/2009 Pros: Fabric soft, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Not ankle length-too shor, Poor Fit, Restricts Movement, Waist elastic binding Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: this item may be mis-sized as "large-size 12." I have 30" waist and this is bit binding. I am 5'5" and they are too short - calf not ankle length - so they may be a petite not a regular. I would have returned them but I put them on just before I had to go out.
By su b from bloomington on 01/02/2009 Pros: Soft wool not prickly, Warm Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are really nice wool, but are sized for a Japanese market, which means that the "medium" is an American small. I'm 5'4" and usually a size 8, and I think I'd prefer a large in these -- the medium is just a little too snug, and a bit short, even.
By Joe from Williamstown, MA on 01/01/2009 Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They are very light and warm. I am pretty small so thy fit me without a problem but for a medium they are small. The only trouble is that they are a bit itchy. I've only worn them once so want to try them again after washing and see how they feel.
By Bravoboy from Portland, OR on 01/01/2009 Best Uses: Indoor activities Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: A big disappointment after years of ordering what I thought was the same Medima product from Sierra Trading Post. This was much thinner, very short and snug. I ordered a medium based on other customer reviews. I have reordered a large (and I usually wear size 2 or 4 clothes.)
Size Medium just fits size 2 petite By transcendental flyer from Iowa on 12/31/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: At Christmastime I bought these in size medium to give to a friend. I'm glad I had another gift for her because they barely fit me, 5'1" size 0-2 petite.
By Clarissa from Iowa CIty, IA on 12/29/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking, Running, Snow Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very nice product. Highly recommended. I ordered them in L and I wear size 8 pants -- turned out to be just the right fit.

they'd be long if you're an amputee By Erika from White Salmon, WA on 08/05/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Snug Fit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports, Team Sports Describe Yourself: Rarely Workout Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a 33" inseam and these only went 1/3 the way past my knees
these must be childs' large...... By Victoria from Arden, NC and Ft. Wayne, IN on 03/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Hav thez frm B4 and LOVE, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Warm Cons: Poor Fit, This is NOT size large Best Uses: Cold Weather, Running, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Rarely Workout Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: i have purchased these in the past and love them.
The size is very clearly NOT correct in that it says "large". If these are "large" then they must be childrens' large
Smaller than heavy weight Medima By Jan the catwoman from Columbia, MD on 03/10/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Snug Fit, Warm Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The color (pink) is beautiful, but it's just mis-sized. They seem to be sized for small and petite women. They were too narrow and too short for me in size L, and the regular weight Medima is perfectly sized in L for me.
