Wonderful Quality/Great Price By Jim from Fairfield, Iowa on 02/20/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Length, Soft, Warm Cons: Not always best colors Best Uses: As A Fashion Accessory, Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Going Out Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a sort of connoisseur of cashmere and consider Scottish cashmere to be the best around. Johnstons of Elgin is a fine old Scottish company that weaves its own cashmere from Scottish goats. I have a wonderful cashmere blanket from them and at least half a dozen of their scarves, which I bought on sale from Sierra Trading Post. These scarves are generously sized, plush, and warm. I'm not always crazy about the colors available, as they are obviously overstocks, but the ones I have are quite beautiful. Personally, I don't like darker colors. Everything seems to appear lighter on the Web, and I had to send back a couple of scarves that were just too dark, especially their navy scarf that is an inky almost black color. But you will be hard pressed to find a better value in this luxurious fabric than the deals offered by Sierra Trading Post, especially their Johnstons products, a very reliable brand.

By Texas time from Houston on 02/12/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Length, Soft Best Uses: As A Fashion Accessory, Cold Weather, Going Out Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Gear Usage: Business meetings Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The scarf is lovely and soft. My husband thought it seemed thin, but I think that is the normal weight of cashmere scarfs. Once he gets back to cold weather he can test it for warmth, but it feels like it will do the trick just fine. You can't beat the sale price on this one.

Bought one like this in Scotland that I gave to my daughter two years ago; she loves it and it ahs held up well.
