Good, but not what I expected
By JimboVerified Reviewer from Seattle, WA on 11/12/2009
Pros:
Adjustable, Lots of Storage
Cons:
Poor flap design, Uncomfortable Strap
Best Uses:
Commuting
Describe Yourself:
Office Professional
Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
This is large enough for my purposes - the primary reason I puraches it to replace another product. The flap leaves the top corners of the pouch area uncovered which creates a problem in my Seattle climate.

I needed to replace an aging work satchel. I wanted something durable, waterproof, and with water bottle pockets. This fills all those requirements.

Comments:
No laptop sleeve, and the top PDA pocket is soft, but gets squeezed by the other gear in the bag. Looks good and more comfortable that the backpack. If i need the added stability the waist strap is a nice feature.

Love the bag, hate the noise. Had to put electrical tape on strap hook to prevent the noise, but the tape wears out in a couple of weeks. Sending ther bag back. Called Gregory and they had received complaints like this before.

heavier than it looks...
By AnotherJenVerified Reviewer from Somerville, MA on 12/07/2007
Pros:
Good Capacity, High Quality
Cons:
Heavy to begin with, Odd shape
Best Uses:
Bike commuting
Describe Yourself:
Comfort-oriented, Funky, Practical
Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I'm going to return this bag. I was going to use it as a daily book bag, but it's too heavy... would probably be great for bike commuting, but I'd imagine the weight would still be an issue there too. I, for one, would rather use panniers than carry a heavy bag.
