good pant with one problem area By Adam from Salt Lake City, UT on 11/09/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Packable Cons: Poor Material or Construction, Poor stiching on belt exi Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like these pants. The fit, weight and general design are great. My only gripe is that for the second pair in row, the stitching around the hole where the belt clasp exits on the left side has torn. It did so about two weeks after I got my original pair, then did it on the pair that I was sent back to replace them as well. Kind of a bummer since I like the pants so much...

Nice pant, but runs small By Niki from Greenville, SC on 07/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Packable Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I own many Gramicci size M products but this one is far smaller and not a M at all. Too bad. I liked it otherwise.
By michaela from New York, NY on 05/29/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: As noted by a reviewer above these pants are terrible. I bought three pairs since I had been really happy with this brand in the past but these all had been pre-washed so much that the waist, legs, crotch all developed HUGE tears within a few days of wearing.
By rolo from New jersey on 03/26/2009 Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: bought 2 pants, the same size but the difference is 1 inch on waist, one are little tight and other loose.. don't understand why ... otherwise good pants just weird sizing.
Gramicci Highline Trail Jaya Pants By Scott the speedracer from Asheville, NC on 03/19/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Cons: Poor Material or Construction Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: After only a few washes the garment tore at the wasitline just above the buckle. I would like another pair to see if it was just this particular pair or if it happens again.

By Paddler from Sacramento, CA on 02/25/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Packable Cons: Chafes, Poor Material or Construction Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Gramicci pants are some of the best pants made for work, play, name it. These pants seem like Gramicci has sold it's name to a Dominican sweat shop. I will never buy Gramicci's from Sierra Trading Post without being able to try them on first.
By hull3551 from Bellingham, WA on 02/13/2009 Cons: Poor Material or Construction Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: After wearing these pants a few times, they began tearing in three different places - the belt loop, the rear pocket and the crotch. I bought Gramicci because I was told they were durable - especially for cycling. (As I do not drive, I thought they'd be great for my daily cycling.) But the cotton material is a little stronger than tissue paper and these started tearing the third or fourth time I wore them. I think the best activity for these pants is watching tv, as long as you don't move around too much on the couch.
