I didn't expect anything less from Birkenstock and they delivered. I have problem feet: two Morton's neuromas and very high arches. I had srugery to release the deep transverse ligament in my right foot 3 months ago (to treat one neuroma), and I still can't wear "regular shoes". However, these Birk clogs look great and feel great. Now I can walk the dog and not have to immediately ice and elevate my feet when I come home. They truly are a lifesaver shoe for those of us with foot issues.
If you're blessed with problem-free feet, you'll still enjoy these. They're ergonomically designed to properly keep your back, knees, and hips aligned. What a treat!
I recommend that you apply some kind of leather protector to the shoes to keep them clean and not to wear them in the rain if you can help it. They're not meant to get wet. If you take care of them right, they'll last you for years and years.
**By the way, I am a woman and these shoes work great for me, too!

I've tried to wear other shoes to work, but I always come back to the Birkenstock's.. These are a little stiff right now but with a little wear i'm sure they'll be fine.. Normally, my Birk size is 39 R, but 40 N in these shoes fits ok too.

I have worn this style for years and really like them They are comfortable and slip on and off easily. I wear an 8 regular in women's shoes but I find that a 38 narrow fits me best for this style. When I first put them on,they don't feel very comfortable. It takes an hour or two of wear for them to mold to your foot. These clogs are nubuck so I spray them with a stain and water repellent before wearing. That keeps them looking great.
