By Anna from Austin TX on 01/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Soft fuzzy interior, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Soft interior makes this jacket ultra warm when I'm out and about. The sleeves are long but that works for me because I'm tallish (5'9")and have long arms. The cuffs have an interior band that keeps the cold air out. I love this jacket!
warm, fuzzy, and cute too By christmas katie from boulder, co on 12/28/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great for around town, casual, going to work. Pockets have fuzzy fleece inside to warm your hands.
Order up! Runs small & short! By Julie the wanna-be-dedicated-athlete from Germantown, MD on 12/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Previous comments were right on. Runs small and short. I should have ordered a size up although I never order a medium in jackets. If you only wear thin clothes under the jacket it will be snug but cozy, but even a thin sweatshirt felt too snug for me. The advantage to ordering up is that the waist can be tightened with internal tabs.
By Christine from Santa Fe, NM on 11/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As usual, another great product from Mountain Hardwear. It's warm and somewhat windproof--love the hood and the high neck, which you can pull up to cover the lower part of your face on really cold days. It's much thicker (and consequently heavier) than most other fleece, so it's a good choice for low-impact activities like walking or hiking. Great for wearing around town!
By rappers mom from amherst ma on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this jacket is so warm!! it is cute with the furry cuffs and fur-lined hood, and so soft inside and out. i want to wear it every single day. so far i get a compliment every time i wear it; people keep asking where i got it. it's the best.
Just bought another in a different color By Ang in AK from Anchorage, Alaska on 08/25/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought my jacket last fall and wore it EVERY day through the wide variety of weather that we have here in Alaska. It is so soft and warm, not to mention TOTALLY cute! Thin enough that I can do layers when I go outside for awhile. Easy to toss in the washer and dryer, too!
so soft, warm...but keep reading By Lori Amel from SF Bay Area, CA on 08/01/2008 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The sleeve length is juuuuust fine; thank goodness! I'm 5'8" and have long arms. I've had to return so many STP orders because of items being too short in sleeves or body. The texture feels sooo nice on the skin. I wish the outside of the jacket looked like the interior. I'm just a bit cautious with the colors going with the style; I feel like the jacket looks a bit flashy in the blue color. I'm going to use a polyester dye to change the color...Oh, I haven't had any problems with static, and I've had my jacket for a year.
