By Dunyazade from Arlington, VA on 07/11/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Color, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: When I first put these on, I thought they might be a little short in the rise (I need a bit above average length in the rise.), but once I got used to where they ride -- a little below my waist -- I was fine with them. In fact, I wore them all day on a long drive in the mountains that included a short hike, a refreshing big splash of spring water, and a long meditation sit. They dried fast and were comfortable through all my activities. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 is that the trim fit doesn't make it possible for the pockets to hold much. I'll definitely be packing these for all my summer trips.
By Miss Frugality from Urbana, IL on 07/09/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: After reading reviews online, I ordered a size 4 (I normally wear size 2). It turned out just a bit too tight, a little pinched on my rear end. I exchanged for size 6 in two colors (brown and black) because some reviews said that even in same size different colors might fit differently. It turns out that the black size 6 is loose but OK but the brown size 6 is way too big. It is annoying that the sizing is not consistent. I will have to return both size 4 and size 6 in brown.
By Megan from Blacksburg, VA on 06/07/2009 Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: fits great everywhere but tight through the butt...just like another pair of Mtn Hardware capris I have tried before. However, in a different pair of Mtn Hardware convertable hiking pants, the butt fits perfect and the pants were slightly large for their size (though still fit). Mtn Hardware's sizes seem to fluctuate with the style of pant.
