By Jules from Red Bluff,CA. on 05/05/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Cons: Poor Fit, Rides up your butt Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: perfect combo of high tech and good looks, but it felt like a "2nd" as far as fit goes. It says that the pant sits below the waist, which it does, but the rest of the fit makes that lower waist uncomfortable, and it causes the rear of the pant to ride up your behind, which is very not cool.
By kathy from silicon valley ca on 05/04/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have these in a 14, and they are a bit big, so I ordered a 12 and they are really tight, They did not have a 14 so have to return them. They are great for outdoorsy activities, quick dry material. I guess I just have to lose weight!
By Fun in the Sun from Clearwater, FL on 05/03/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants are not for women with curves! Had to send back for a larger size, hope they fit.
By adventurer from HI on 04/30/2009 Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: You might like these pants if you like the waist up around your armpits. These are the most uncomfortable, awkwardly constructed pants ever. If you have a tiny waist and giant hips you might like them. Sierra Trading Post Responded on 04/30/2009
Thank you for your review. After having this fit, we have determined that it runs one size small. Thanks again.
By Enviro Lover from Southern Utah on 04/26/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Fit is good, Lightweight, Packable, Price can't be beat Cons: No complaints so far Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered a pair of these in a 4 and a 6 since there were so many comments about the sizing. Turns out there wasn't much difference in the sizes and both pairs fit. A great deal for me but others might not be so lucky.

By vajax from chesapeake, va on 04/16/2009 Cons: Poor Fit, Poor Material or Construction Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I expected more from Moutain Hardwear. I have other items from this brand that are great. First the fit is too small. I am familiar with the brand and ordered my regular size. The material feels heavy so I know I would be sweating just going out in the humid Virginia summer. The quality just isn't there. Sent them back. Sierra Trading Post Responded on 04/16/2009
