I would buy this product again By Mom in Miami from Miami, Florida on 02/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this for my 12 year old daughter, who is learning to sail. I love it so much, and it looks so good, that I might buy the next size up for when she grows out of this one next year. I compared with other websites and, for what I needed, it was a great deal. VERY lightweight - she says she likes it because she doesn't even feel like she's wearing something. Not good if you're looking for warmth, but I wasn't.
By Lukerya from Wellington, NZ on 02/25/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got it for a friend and ordered this jacket one size bigger. It fits all right, but to me it`s not even one size smaller. Anyway, it`s a nice jacket and will protect my friend from the rain

I returned it.

I have been looking for a long time to find the one perfect for me. I have 3 girls and am always running them to practice, coaching them, just being outside. I feel the jacket is just right for me because it protects from the elements, it is not too heavy or confining. It is just what I need.
By VHC from Lookout Mountain, TN on 02/11/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Pretty much as expected Best Uses: Casual Wear, Springearly summer wear Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Light Protection-Hawaii Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: How can I get the wrinkles out of the jacket? By Teri from Charlotte, NC on 01/03/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I needed a wind and rain jacket light in weight and easy to stuff in a backpack. This does the job. However I am a small woman with wide shoulders and long arms. The sleeve length is fine but with a thin sweater there is some tightness across the shoulders when both arms are extended. Not enough to make this jacket too tight and I mainly will wear this in warmer weather.
By MamaGab from Evanston, il on 11/10/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Wet weather living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this jacket as a raincoat, something I could throw on and to be outside in the rain, runnign errands, walking the kids home from school etc. It's perfect for this purpose. The wind goes right through this jacket, so I would not recommend it for cold weather or high wind conditions.
By Karen in Tempe from Tempe, Arizona on 11/09/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought a large and it fits perfectly, maybe a tad big. I wanted room to layer so it's justright for me. I usually wear a medium.
Lightweight & Packable & Very Nice By City girl from Oakland, CA on 11/08/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Lots of Pockets, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Past reviews said the jacket was fitted so I sized up to allow room for a sweater. Glad I did as I prefer a bit of ease and the larger size fits good. The blue is a bit blue (few color options were left) but it's still nice. Marmot clothing is always extremely well made and designed well. The collar is a bit high, but I'm sure I'll really appreciate it during a rainstorm.
If you're looking for a lightweight, packable rain jacket - I would recommend this one. A layer of fleece will turn this into a year round jacket in California.
