By Toolio from Warrenton, OR on 11/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Waterproof Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for a longer waterproof jacket to cover "more of me." The weight was good, colors were good, just not long enough.
By backpacker from west coast on 10/10/2008 Cons: Doesn't Breathe, Wears Out Quickly Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The PreCip was fine at first. It wasn't too expensive, and it did the job. It wasn't that breathable, but I knew I wasn't buying a top-of-the-line product. However, within about 3 years, the lining started to fail and it's not waterproof at all anymore. It might last a bit longer if you're not packing this tight into a backpack all the time, but I still don't think it would be worth it.

I love it. but size runs small. By woodenshoe from New England on 06/20/2008 Best Uses: Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The size ran small - I usually wear a small and the medium is ok, but I wonder how many layers I can get underneath. Otherwise I love it.

The fit is great, and I wore it one muggy afternoon (hoping for rain to test it out), and didn't get that gross clammy feeling at all.
