However, I had read from other reports this might happen and they would loosen up, so I set them aside for a week and tried again. The second time I wore them they fit like a glove. I usually like a shoe with more arch support, but they are very comfortable for causal office wear or light errands/about town. I got lots of positive comments on the style.

I have these in both brown and black. My only wish is that the straps were a little longer.

However, they are a little uncomfortable on the top where the straps are. I am breaking them in slowly, and will keep them, 'cause they're SO CUTE!

They are super cute with lots of detailing. I got a great deal when they were the Barn Burner a couple weeks back and I'm kicking myself for only buying one pair! I wouldn't recommend these to someone with a wide foot though. I have very narrow feet and they fit me well. I think wider feet would be very cramped.

I bought the shoe because I like J41 and because they were on a special sale. These are the reasons I am not bothering to return them. I can use them at the inn and just slip them off when I wish. The shoe is very custom fitted due to the cross straps and low cut toe. Perhaps that is why so many comments say, "too wide, too short, etc..." These were not as nice looking as the photo either, unusual for Sierra TP.
