Rain protection @ a Scouter's price By StampingDad from Stamping Ground, Kentucky on 03/18/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Waterproof Cons: Jury's out on durability Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I needed raingear for 12 day trek at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico this summer. Frogg Toggs was high on posted gear lists. STP price cannot be beat. I did order Large based upon Frogg Toggs size chart and reviews that they ran large but had to reorder XLarge as it was tight in the chest and shoulders. (I normally wear a 2XL in a coat). I though had no problem getting another trek participant to buy the Frogg Toggs at what is Dri-Ducks prices!
An 8.3 from the German judge. By Jake from Lake Villa, IL on 03/18/2009 Pros: Breathable, Get larger size for fit, Lightweight, Packable, Waterproof, Zippered legs easy on Cons: No coat pockets, Not Enough Pockets or Features, Only one color option Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Keep in car for every day Describe Yourself: Advanced Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just got them and am looking forward to camping in the rain just to wring them out. I have a packable jacket from Columbia but eventually it will soak through. The togs are light, a little bulky for backpacking but others in my Scout troop love them. I wish the coat had pockets. The pants have slots to reach through. I ordered larger size so they will layer over warmth layer.
Looks durable, but it's not By Doc, the trails doctor from Pembroke, MA on 03/17/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight Best Uses: Conservation work Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Purchased for waterproofing and durability. Fabric ripped on first wearing, working on nature preserve trail clearing. Returning product.

By Louis T from NY on 03/10/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Advanced Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Use for Hiking and backpacking. wish it squeezed down into a smaller roll and wish it came with a little "compression sack". The suit is reasonably light. I suggest buying a bit large to be sure you can fit it over whatever pants and shirt you are wearing when the rain comes down.
