cute pattern, thin fabric By MS from Los Angeles on 10/20/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Cons: Low Quality, Thin Fabric Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice looking and comfortable, but the fabric is kind of cheesy and it has an odd yolk around the waist. You would have to wear something over it, shirt or belt. Fabric is too thin for winter and too dark for summer.
By Tehilla from Brooklyn, NY on 10/12/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Nice Color, Nice Fabric, Versatile Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fits very nicely, and the colors are much lovelier in person than online. Hangs well, I wear classic a-line oriented skirts. Could be dressed up or down despite the simpler material. Soft and feminine.
What a Pleasant Surprise! By merelyfaith from WI on 09/09/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Nice Color Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The surprise was that this skirt made to fit tall, slim, Orvis types actually fit short, rounded me. Maybe not the way the designer planned, but it does work as a midcalf casual skirt for a chubby petite. How nice.
Fabric is not the soft cotton that I expected, has more body and is a little bit stiff.
Pretty skirt but a little stiff By Working Girl from Frederick, MD on 01/18/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Cons: Color Not As Expected, Fabric stiff, Rides-up, Sticks to pantyhose Best Uses: Going Out, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a very pretty skirt. I expected colors and pattern to be a little more muted...the blue is brighter than I expected, but it's not bad. It looks more casual than I thought when I saw on line. The design with the "yolk" is a bit weird to me...but since I'm wearing tops that will hang over it (so you won't see the yolk), that's fine. Otherwise, the design looks like what I'd expect in a maternity skirt!! The elastic they used for waist is very narrow. I think it would be more comfortable if that elastic was wider. Anyway, it is pretty comfortable. The only real negative is that the fabric is light but stiff. It would probably be okay if you decided to wear with "bare" legs, but with pantyhose or tights it clings and climbs up my legs...even though I'm wearing a slip. I'm hoping that maybe after it's washed a few times it will "relax". We'll see.
