By Active woman from Long Island on 01/31/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Perfect Length Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this skirt to wear when I play tennis. It is very comfortable and perfect length. The shorts are comfortable and don't ride up (too much). The side slits enable easy movements. Great price for a well-made skirt.
By Shoeshopping momma from Salem, VA on 01/30/2009 Cons: Much smaller than expecte, Poor Fit, Shorter than expected Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: So sorry to send this back. Smalls usually are roomy on me - I am a size 4-6, but this skirt was snug and SHORT!!! I am much too old to wear this.
Unusually deep front "pleats" By Tucson Runner from Tucson AZ on 01/19/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the fit, fabric, and overall styling of this skirt. The front pleats are cut very deeply and I am not sure how that is going to feel when I run - if it flaps too much, I won't keep the skirt.
strange color combination By Tucson Runner from Tucson AZ on 01/13/2009 Pros: Detailed side stitching, Lightweight Best Uses: Errands, Gym, Running Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered several running skirts from STP. Loved the others. Am returning the New Balance persimmon skirt. The undershorts are black and show through the kick pleats. It looks like Halloween. Not attractive. What were the designers thinking? The fit overall is good - but yikes! the colors.
I love this running skirt!! By Zop Instructor from NC on 01/12/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Anytime, Running Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This skirt feels great while you run. In cold weather I also throw a pair of running pants over the bike shorts but under the skirt - it's very comfortable and I still get to wear my running skirt! :) I have ordered additional skirts since I received this one.
By Cheryl the runner from Colorado Spgs, CO on 01/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Competition, Gym, Running, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Since the spandex undershorts are opaque black, not mesh, I can wear this skort to the gym and run without worrying about exposing anything. There is a pocket on the leg of the spandex undershorts-very nice for carrying a credit card, tissue, wet-nap, hotel key...

It is light and moves easily.
Good solid work out skort By Ellie from Portland, OR on 12/11/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought several work out skorts on Sierra Trading Post at the same time to have a little variety. Although one reviewer really liked the 'kick' pleats, I thought they were a little awkward looking. Although functional, I buy skorts mainly because they are cuter than shorts so I like some of the other options I bought on Sierra better. That being said, they are quite comfortable and the length is significantly longer than a lot of other skorts. Overall a solid pair and I like the black.
By SV from Durham, NC on 11/25/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Gym, Running, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Lycra shorts underneath skirt tend to ride up a bit (as do all lycra shorts) but since the skirt is not overly connected to them (as I've seen with some fitness skirts) so it doesn't do weird things to the fit. Great option to running/walking shorts (which all seem to be really short and/or highly cut OR that shiney knit jersey material that I hate these days--can't find the same types of shorts I was buying ten years ago so this is a good new alternative).
This skirt fits like a glove! By biker chic from Bloomington, IN on 11/22/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Cycling, Gym, Running, Team Sports Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like to cycle in skirts (skorts) so that when I get to town I can still be 'sorta' stylish! I purchased this skirt to cycle in, but once I had worn it a few times I loved it so much that I wore it everywhere. My husband started ferering to it as 'my uniform'! It is THE most comfortable skirt (skort) I have every had on. I think part of what makes it so great is that the 'kick' pleats in front are on both sides of the leg, thus when you cycle or do any other activity instead of flying up the skirt front just falls between your legs! Brilliant design and the shorts are made out of VERY comfortable and flexible material.
