not a bad shirt, but did not fit me By Whit from honolulu, hi on 12/29/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Cons: Poor Fit, Restricts Movement Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bottom line: I returned this shirt; it was a little too tight in the front shoulders and was too tight as as I mimicked a "front raise" motion. Over all the material seemed good: medium weight, neither gauzy nor overly heavy. My gut is the textured waffle weave would have had some problems with snags and runs, but no more than other similar shirts. I liked the color and style, but the fit just did not seem right. Perhaps, your body type will be better; me, 5'9" 161 lbs slim-muscular build. I prefer fitted, but not super hero/underarmour t-shirts.
By Black Rock Elorrum from San Jose, CA on 09/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable Cons: Thread pulls and snags Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wore this on an extended camping trip in the desert. This was the only clothing item I took that was designed for wicking. I can't say how it performs as work out clothing, but it felt loose and cool and dry in 100+ heat. I am looking to buy more of the texturetech items for the same purpose. Material does have minor "snag" issues if your hands get rough and dry.
By Truth Detector from UK on 07/24/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Cons: Poor Craftsmanship, Poor Fit Best Uses: Gym, Running, Sports Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This shirt runs small for an XL. The shoulder panels are poorly designed and pucker. Not typical of previous "NB lightening Dry" products.
By Joe shopper from Highland, MI on 07/22/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight Cons: Poor Fit, Restricts Movement Best Uses: Gym, Running, Sports Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Very tight fit around the shoulders! Can run in it, but lifting is out of the question.
By Artnote from Sunnyvale, CA on 05/29/2008 Cons: Poor Craftsmanship, Poor Fit, Restricts Movement Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Armpit area undersized, poorly constructed, most likely a design error.
By Eric the runner from Chicago, IL on 05/14/2008 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Running, Sports, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shirt is great - breathable, lightweight, and (thus far) non-chafing. I love the colors it comes in, too!
By Tommasini Ben from Hartsell, AL on 03/16/2008 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable Best Uses: Gym, Running, Sports Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I liked this shirt much better than the Sportif 9 Mile that I also bought from Sierra. This shirt's material is softer and more supple. It seems to wick well and is non-restrictive. I also really liked the styling of the orange-grey version.
