By Sandy the Teacher from Bourbon, IN on 10/26/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Weekend wear Describe Yourself: Classic, Traditional Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a petite woman with a curvy figure. When my pants fit in the hips and thighs, they are always too big in the waist. I haven't owned a pair of jeans since the 80's since I can't find a pair that fit me. I read the reviews on these jeans and thought they just might work. I wear a size 8 pants, and I ordered these jeans in a size 10 and could not get them past my thighs to even see how the waist fit. I returned them and will not try to order pants online any more! I need to try them on before I buy them!

Stay true to size even after washing.

By Motor City Mom from Canton, MI on 10/19/2009 Cons: Irregular Fit, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These were too low, too tight, too long, too wrong! I generally love Carhartt pants and shorts, and the fit is always perfect for me...but not this time.
By Cowboy's Partner from Idaho on 10/16/2009 Cons: Cheap Material, Irregular Fit, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I expected Carhartt's usual high-quality denim, found in their men's jeans, with a feminine fit for a middle-aged mom. These are light-weight denim. The "no-gap" waist gapped inches on me, but the butt and thighs were tight. I'm returning them.
