By Sharon from NC coast on 11/18/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Flattering, Great Color, Quality Material, Roomy pockets Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports, Travel Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Extremely well-made and they even come up high enough without looking like "my mother's jeans." Curves were in the right places so they fit nicely in the waist. But so roomy I reordered in a smaller size.
Finally! Jeans that fit me! By Pedaling Mom from Virginia on 11/12/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Quality Material Best Uses: Casual Wear, Everyday wear Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm so glad to find a pair of jeans that fit without needing any alterations anywhere! Listening to reviews, I bought a size too large and had to exchange for the right size -- these are really true to size! They're an easy fit, but don't look sloppy or dumpy. I love the carpenter style but haven't found them anywhere else. Thank you Sierra and Carhartt!

By ITgal from Perrysburg, OH on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Quality Material Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I work in an IT department. These jeans are great for work; look good, wear well, have side pockets for keys and tools. I like the way they fit, too.
By Lilyofthefield from Longmont, CO on 10/28/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Quality Material, Versatile, Wrinkle Resistant Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Classic Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I appreciate all the reviews as they helped me get the correct size. I normally wear a 12/14 and usually buy a 14 in jeans because I like them loose fit. I purchased these in a 12/30 inseam and found them quite comfortable and the perfect length (I am 5' 6").
They fit and they're long enough By GardenGuru from SF Bay Area, CA on 09/18/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Quality Material Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Sports, Travel Describe Yourself: Outdoorswoman, Traditional Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The only sad news is that Carhartt's sizing is inconsistent.
I bought 3 pr Carhartt jeans--all "relaxed fit" and all the same size, but different styles. This pair is truly relaxed, if not loose fit. The denim carpenter jeans were relaxed. The canvas carpenters pants were a regular to slim fit, no where near relaxed.
The Good News:
To Carhartt's Eternal Credit:
1. The fabric is dense & durable denim, though less dense than the riding jeans I'm used to, and there's **NO LYCRA**--thank you Carhartt!
2. They are conservatively cut jeans for grown-up women who work. They are not flimsy, scratchy, elasticized, trendy fashion statements cut to highlight plumber's butt (a universally unattractive aspect, regardless of age and sex).
3. They're long enough. I repeat: They're long enough. I'm 6ft. Finding clothing that's long enough is almost impossible. Thank you again, Carhartt.
Wonderful pants for women By usdagal from Indiana on 09/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Quality Material Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great product for the price.
A little heavy but durable By Electrical Engineer from Chicago, IL on 08/09/2008 Pros: Durable, Quality Material, Versatile, Wrinkle Resistant Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought one 3 month ago for my frequent trips to construction sites. The size charts online lead me to get something that was a little big. It's cut too loose in the thighs and seat for me. On the plus side, the material is very thick and durable, the dark denim doesn't show stains, and the pockets are actually useful. On the minus side, the denim is too thick to breathe well and they get very uncomfortable in hot and humid environments. I prefer the canvas dungarees instead, but these are functional.

By Katie, the gardener from Stowe, VT on 08/06/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Fits a womans body, Versatile Cons: Blemishes on jeans, Small discoloration Best Uses: Dressy jeans, Going Out, Sports, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These jeans fit like a glove. No gaps or spaces in the back. The croch doesn't sag down and the the size I chose was perfect for me. Unfortunately, when I looked down, I noticed small blemishs and pulls in the fabric. Because of what I need them for, it didn't bother me and I kept them. However, if I were to purchase another pair, I would make sure they were near perfect. I would certainly recommend these jeans because they fit just right!
