By town and backcountry from central PA on 03/30/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Quality Material Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Sports, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Eclectic Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am tall, and was excited to find the long inseams. Sadly, the rise is too short for me. I am disappointed, and I guess I won't order more Carhartts, but it's not the fault of the jeans. They are nice.
By simple54 from mccloud, ca on 03/16/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Flattering, Great Color, Quality Material Best Uses: Every day - work play, Jeans that fit well, No spandex Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Eclectic Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants fit well and I feel like I look fine in them. I don't like spandex in my jeans as it lets my tummy hang out more than I'd like!
By Lcchik from florida on 03/16/2009 Pros: Durable, Great Color, Quality Material Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: carhart dungarees - nickel sized fabric blemish directly on front (they are listed as imperfect, but this was way too noticable). [...] Nice deep blue, heavy denim. Tends to fit looser in leg which is great. 100% cotton too, which is very hard to find in women's jeans. Hoping replacement pair will come with no obvious imperfections.

Jeans that bring a sigh of relief By Tofu Magoo from Arizona on 03/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Quality Material, Utilitarian Best Uses: Casual Wear, Physical labor Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Without knowing it, I have been looking for these jeans for the past couple of decades. I do not want form-fitting jeans that have more stretch material than denim. After just one day of wear, they conformed nicely to my shape and movements without leaving me feeling constricted by them.
These are well made jeans with triple stitching where it counts. They also use a sturdy enough fabric in the pockets so that you can put your keys in your pocket and not worry about those pockets wearing our in a couple of months. Thay are a very pragmatic choice for daily wear.
By seventy five from williamsburg,va on 03/04/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Flattering, Great Color, Quality Material Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Sports, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great quality, nice fit, heavy for warmth. But not heavy as far as comfort. Nice length. Very comfortable. Can be worn casual or snazzed up a bit with boots, sweater and necklace.
By Sanilac County Princess from The Thumb of Michigan on 02/15/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Flattering, Great Color, Quality Material Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love most everything Carhart. These jeans fit comfortably on the waist, the length is good and the material durable.
By JPNtheHUN from College Park, MD on 02/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lots of great pockets Describe Yourself: Lazy shopper Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These jeans do not work for me. I ordered the 16s and they were just barely too small (or I am too big) and the 18s are huge. They do nothing to flatter me, and I just look dumpy. They are just the wrong cut/style/fit for me--I am 5'7" and medium overweight (can sometimes hide it) with definite waist and hips. This was my first attempt at jeans on line, and I consider it a failure.
not made for muscular women By Jan from Washington state on 02/11/2009 Pros: Durable, Great Color, Quality Material Cons: Tight fit, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Career, Outdoor professional Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm a professional gardener and usually order Carhartt men's jeans, which fit great and are very durable. I thought I'd give the women's product line a try. I found these jeans are not made for muscular women who do physical work for a living - no place to put the thighs or fanny! They're nicely constructed and I like the color, but I had to send them back. Maybe someone tall and slender could wear them, but not a curvy woman.
