I picked these up along with a pair of the denim work pants and LOVE them. Great for weekends on the ranch clearing brush, walking the dogs through thistles and tall brush. Love my new found freedom from being poked and scratched!
By Gardener from Arkansas on 09/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Quality Material Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have skinny legs, so the legs seem big, but I bought them for their warmth in winter, so hopefully the legs will shrink some. I'm still happy with them, as they fit fine at the waist.

Super tough, comfortable pants By brown234 from Carrboro, NC on 08/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Flattering, Great Color, Quality Material Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Eclectic, Sexy Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these pants to build stone walls and weld, assuming that stones wouldn't tear through the double-fronts, and that they'd have good pockets and loops for tools, and even be semi-spark resistant. Won't start that work until next month, but I'm already in love with these pants!
They're VERY, VERY comfortable, but they are heavy and hot. Tons of room in the legs to bend and squat without pinching, but because of that (I'm assuming), the waist is cut a little higher and a little tighter so they'll stay put. I'm normally a 12L in pants, but am happy with a 14L in these and other Carhartts. As a 26-year-old, I'm used to lowrider jeans, so these are a little different, but PERFECT for work. I think they're pretty cute too!
Also, these feel very well-constructed, and if they're really "seconds," I couldn't tell.
awesome shape, sturdy construction By Abbydog from Santa Barbara on 07/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Flattering Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am happy with these. If anything they are sized a bit big (if compared to say, certain popular retailer jeans) but right now that's a good thing for me. Lots of room in thighs and butt. My boyfriend thinks they are VERY cute on me! I like them better than the carpenter pant which were bigger.
By Abbydog from Santa Barbara on 07/15/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: [...] These pants are VERY Stiff and heavy, will probably take a long time to break in and were too warm for wearing in the summer...and my pair fit a bit looser than the same size of denim carpenter work pant. I will probably like them when the weather is cooler and they seem super tough so will probably last a long time. "there is a duplicate review for this product"
By Worker lady from Richmond Va on 07/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Quality Material Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My only gripe is that the hips don't fit me well, but then that is true of almost all pants.
By Mac and Mini's Mom from Laguna Beach, CA on 06/29/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Flattering, Great Color, Quality Material Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are even better than I expected. They are put together so well, strong seams and heavy duty material plus, they fit so well. I love them
Great once I got the size right By On a budget from NY on 06/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Color, Quality Material Cons: a little stiff, Irregular Fit Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Dog lover, Gardener Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These ran so small that I actually had to exchange them and go up 2 sizes. Depressing, but I am actually glad I did trade them in for the bigger size. These fit perfectly. They are well made and I expect to have them for a long time. [...]
