The waist definitely gapped on me, so they were promptly returned. They seemed like a great product, full of traditional Carharrt quality, and will probably fit most women well. (I have a hard time finding bottoms that fit my hips but won't gap in the waist.)

These are the jeans that I have been looking for. I think they will last a lot longer. I usually wear a size 8 in Levis and I ordered a size 8 in the Carhartt and were way too big in the waist. Needed a size 4.

After wearing them for 2-3 hours, they were about to fall off. I am returning for a smaller size. Perhaps that will work.

No mistake Carhartt jeans and shorts run big. There is a little looseness in the waist even in the smaller size that disappeared some with washing but not completely. However, these jeans are comfortable, durable and attractive.

I also wanted dark indigo, straight leg, pockets on rear, and some stretch. Hard to get a good fit with a big difference between hip and waist measurement. These fit the bill.
