The position of the stitching and elastic band do not allow for much room as you try the shoe on. Once on, they feel like the size they are supposed to be and were comfortable to wear all day.

It feels like it's going to pop out all the time. I've tried wearing them around the house to get used to the feeling, but unfortunately, I'll be sending these back.
Bottom line: The fit is probably just a personal quirk- they are well made, nice shoes. If you are interested, go for it!
Super cute high heel alternative. As I hate high heels as they hurt after a few minutes. But I can go all day in these, no problem. Though the shoe fits, though it is snug and I can only wear a thin sock or go barefoot in them.

But they're very hard to get on, especially with medium to heavy-weight socks. With lighter socks they're too big. However, I'm able to get them on after a bit of a struggle. I'll buy a shoe horn; maybe that will help. For the price, they're definitely worth keeping.
