The shell is a bit heavier than some others but I knew that going in (and snow skirts, extra pockets, ect... always add weight). The exterior seems incredibly durable and it sheds water/wind. No just hope for one last powder day for the final test...

He loved the jacket and found it very comfortable when skiing. Jacket becomes very warm with a fleece layer under it and works well in a wide range of temperatures.
He loved that it doesn't look like every shell, it looks fast but not goofy...I'm a little sorry you didn't have it in stock in my size in a different color.
