By Freshy from Virginia on 03/10/2008 Pros: Breathable, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Advanced Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this bib to compliment gear on last of five weeks of skiing. 'Thought I would take a large, but that size proved too small in hip and groin area...so I ordered the XL. Bib was good product (good water-proofing and ventilation with thigh zips), but the snap over zipper on right leg hem came off the first day. No big deal, but I thought it was a little disappointing from a $500+ product.
By Ephblum from Amherst, NY on 02/18/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Downhill, Freestyle Describe Yourself: Advanced Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got the black pair as soon as I saw them for sale here to add to the red pair I bought over the summer-that's how happy I am with these bibs. Although you can argue about ski jackets (amongst Spyder, Phenix, Kjus, etc.) I think Spyder has the ski pants market cornered with these. I can wear them from 30s with the vents open to wind chills in the -20s with just boot length Hot Chillys underneath. Perfect amount of insulation and great fit-not too tight but not too baggy. I like how they repositioned the vents to be longer and slant over the front of your thigh a bit on this newer model-the prior year's vents were just down the side. Unlike some manufacturers, suspenders are included, and removable (although I don't know why you'd want to remove them for any on-mountain purpose myself). Of course, great looks from Spyder Legend Series and all the details (waterproof zippers have nice pulls that work well with gloves, zipper garages, large buttons, etc.).
