Breathable, Comfortable, Warm, Waterproof
Cons:
Bulky
Best Uses:
Snowboarding/Skiing
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I owned many ski pants , and these are certainly not cheap. This is one instance where you get quality for what you pay. Moreover, the discounted price on Sierra cannot be beat.

Great product
By SuperGVerified Reviewer from MA on 09/13/2009

Best Uses:

Describe Yourself:

Gear Usage:

Inseam:
Feels too long
Waist:

Bottom Line:

Comments:
No bulk but warm warm warm! Straighter cut from waist to lower hip is very comfortable. One of few pants I've found that DON'T have a 'curvy women's figure' cut. I have some shape but the 'curvy' (small, high-wasit big through the hips) cut is just uncomfortable and restrictive. Yes, the length may be 'too long' for some but it looks more modern and I prefer the longer length to picking snow and ice out of my boot buckles.

I ordered the largest size for pants that I would usually wear. They fit perfectly; but order one size up if in doubt. These are top quality, beautifully constructed and designed. They look terrific, can't wait to hit the slopes.

Only gave four stars because I haven't had a chance to try these out yet re durability. Got them on sale in Aug. Hopefully, it won't snow here in the Black Hills for couple of months. They are warm, lightweight and slimming. I wear a large but got a 16 so I could layer for extreme cold. I have plenty of room for silks and wool pants underneath. I will wear them snowshoeing/wolf watching in Yellowstone and dog sledding in Northern MN this winter.

I haven't worn them out yet since it is summer. They perfectly match the Spyder coffee colored jacket I already own. Since I am only 5'1", I would have preferred to buy a shorter length pant, but couldn't find anywhere. I will have to spend $30 or $40 to have them shortened due to the zippers down by ankles. They are 4"-5" too long for me.

Very nice looking pants with a slender leg. I found mine long, but that's true for almost any pants I buy. Great colors and great price.

These pants almost fit, a little bit too small due to Spyder changing their sizing a few years ago from what had been standard sizing.

Comments:
These pants feel & look terrific...super soft fabric and sophisticated fit. I prefer higher-waisted ski pants so you're not tugging at your waistband with bulky mittens, etc. on the slopes, and these definitely fit the bill. Sleek fit without alot of bulk, and the optional suspenders will come in handy. I find that Spyder pants are notoriously hard to fit but these were better than most. I usually wear a size 6/8 in regular women's pants and the size 10 fit me perfectly.
