By Jack from Watertown, WI on 02/23/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Good Padding, Great Fit Best Uses: Road Biking, Road Racing, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good pair of basic PI shorts. Their upper end shorts have a softer out of the bag feel. Run these through the washer with some softener once and you should be fine. Typically good Pearl Izumi quality.
By DuDave from Port Angeles, WA on 02/19/2009 Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used my first pair of these shorts all last year and loved them, so these are my second pair. They are comfortable and only half the price of similar shorts. As with all Pearl Izumi shorts, I find they run a size too small. I have a 31" waist, but had to buy a large.

By DTM-Mitch from Central Kentucky on 08/23/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Padding Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Padding felt a little bulky at first, but has broken in well.
Nice shorts. Excellent padding By 734jeant from Ashland, OR on 08/13/2008 Best Uses: Average 25 mile rides Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I would recommend this product to a male cyclist.
Although I've worn men's shorts before, this style seems to have too much padding for a female.
By Edgar from Coppell, TX on 08/13/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Padding Best Uses: Mountain Biking, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use the this pants mostly for mountain biking.
The padding is ok, but it could be of a las spongy and more stiff material. The actual padding taks too much space and doesn't isolate your bottom from the bumps all that well.
Not sure I would buy again By Keith from Minnesota on 08/11/2008 Best Uses: Commuting, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wore a hole in one ofthe legs because of some abrasion against a utility bag strap on my seat post. It wasn't much, but in one ride, I tore the leg to shreds. I have worn several other shorts with that bike, but only these were destroyed.
