Function and fashion in one! By remuda from Clovis, CA on 03/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Quality fabric, Stylish Best Uses: Downhill, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Advanced Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Looks and feels great! This pant moves with you easily due to the stretch. The length is really good for me. Better than any of my other ski pants that feel too short a lot of the time.

By JDGin from Oregon on 02/09/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Downhill Describe Yourself: Advanced Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great looking, super fiting, warm but light pants made out of cutting edge materials. Can't say enough good things about the 4-way stretch fabric. Tailored fit, with just the right amount of give. I got them in white, which may not be practical. But they are sure sharp looking. There are no lengths (short, regular, long) which is a shame. I could use a short. They seem to run slightly long. So you taller folks should be okay. I would never be able to afford them at their list/retail price. But I got a super deal on them through Sierra Trading post. They are still the most expensive ski pants I've ever purchased, but they are so, so worth it.
By Toni from Fort Collins, CO on 01/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Honestly I have not been able to use these pants yet, but good fit and worth keeping in my opinion. They seem really well made and very warm.
Spyder Ruby Pants - Awesome By Ski Nana from Bessemer, Michigan on 01/20/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Advanced Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ordered two sizes up as Spyder normally is small fitting and worked good with long underwear. Probably could have went one size up but I don't have a small waist and that is the issue. Only sad thing is there is a visible Spyder on the pants! Boo hoo but that is okay. Really nice and warm and wind resistant and feels great on cold chairlifts.
By mdwupnorth from Duluth, Minnesota on 01/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants are awesome and a great deal! Unfortunately, I ordered a size 8 and they were too big. There were no 6's left to exchange for. (I usually wear 6, so they REALLY do fit true-to-size, unusual for Spyder, but believe it!!) What a bummer, because I love them! Very well made, nice fabric & feel, lots of pockets -including the lower leg area. You'll not be disappointed.

By MI and Out West Skiier from Nashville, TN on 12/24/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Downhill, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Advanced Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great buy for these quality pants. They are really comfortable and feel good for active/back country skiing where you move a lot. The suspenders seem to work great and made my back feel warmer when skiing out in the trees and powder, you can take them off if you don't want them. I have shorter legs and they fit me perfect. They look cool and the material feels good too.
