By HLHarry from Northern Highlands, lower Michigan on 05/10/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Yes, the fabric is waterproof, just like the attached tag stated. However, the seams are not watertight and I got very wet in a heavy Northern Michigan downpour. This is easily demonstrated by placing your hand inside a sleeve and holding it under a faucet with the water directed on a seam. The Grizzly pants and gloves have the same problem.
Other than that the garments are great and I intend to keep them. I will be applying a water based urethane seam sealer, available at most camping supply stores.
