Great comfortable stylish pants By Exerinstructor from Saratoga, WY on 01/14/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Snowmobiling, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants are very stylish & comfortable. I have a definite pear shape with a small waist & bigger hips & these actually fit. It can be a very hard thing to find. I haven't had the chance yet, but will use them for snowmobiling along with Skiing. Lightweight, but warm enough.
By Outdoor Gal from Northern MN on 01/14/2009 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cross Country, Downhill, Hiking, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I would have kept these pants but they were too tight in the waist. I ordered the S 6-8; I wear an 8. They are nice, but run small.
By ontime from vermont on 01/14/2009 Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the pants, but they're too small, so I need to send them back. I'm usually an 8-10, the 10-12 are way too small for me. They're also way too long for me. For some reason the pair I got was also dusty/dirty in places.
ATTN MANUFACTURERS: Women Have Hips By Jenna from Minneapolis, MN on 01/11/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The first weekend I got these pants, I wore them for downhill skiing, sledding, hiking, and snowmobiling. They held up great against the snow, but I would have worn another layer of long underwear on longer snowmobile rides. One warning about these pants, however--they definitely were not made to fit a women's body! Apparently the manufacturers forgot that women have hips! I am a size 4 or 6 in jeans, so I ordered the small snow pants. The pants fit great through the legs, butt, and stomach area... the only problem is that they are too narrow for my hips! It is like they were made for a little boy. Oh well, I pulled them up higher than I normally wear pants, but I definitely recommend women thinking twice before ordering and maybe ordering a size bigger than normal.
By cpj from Rochester, NY on 01/07/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Backcountry, Downhill, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I liked these ski pants, they were a size 12 and I normally wear a 10 or 12 petite. They were a little long but not as long as other ski pants. However, I found that they were rather thin. I did not try them outside, but they felt much less warm than another pair of gortex insulated pants I bought, so ultimately I sent them back. It was too bad, because they were cute, but I had no need for 2 pairs. If you are looking for a very well priced, thinner pant, these were very good though.
what you see is what you get By Grandma from Rneo, NV on 01/07/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country, Downhill, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Like how they are adjustible at waist, however the buckle pinches when I sit. That maybe because I am an slightly over weight old lady.
By sledding mom from Washington on 01/05/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these pants for all the sledding I do with my kids. They are awesome. Not only do they look good, but they are warm and waterproof. I am a size 10-12 and bought the large. There's enough room so I can comfortably wear some thin pants. They are a tad long, but only because I'm short.
By skifun from Napa.CA on 12/31/2008 Pros: Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love the look of these pants. They were just too small in the waist, not a typical problem for me. Very stylish.
By jack from alaska on 12/30/2008 Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: runs small - order at least a size larger.
By BarCol from Newmarket, Ontario on 12/29/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Collegiate/Pro Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are terrific ski/boardpants and compare favourably in sizing, style and warmth (and very favourably in price) to the Burton's that my daughter already has. My main complaint (and it really isn't one) is that they are a little long for her 5'3" frame - but that's really not surprising. Will definitely order from you again.
