By Outdoor Lday from Salida, CO on 12/26/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Downhill Describe Yourself: Advanced Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The waist runs large, however, there are two velcro-elastic straps to tighten it up. I would rather have that then too small a waist, which ofter happens. These pants look great!
By Gaga from Springfield, MO on 12/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It tried several brands and Columbia styles. This one was the most flattering-- they hang nice without being tight (too form-fitting) or loose and shapeless. They seem very well constructed with a texture in the shell material. Now I want a ski coat to go with them.
May be great pants, but not for me By Wine Goddess from Western Pennsylvania on 12/05/2008 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm on the upper end of the size range. These were just too small.
By Waiting for snow from Logan, UT on 11/30/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Havent' skiied in these yet (no snow!), but chose them over a fancier brand because they are comfortable and I like the features. The small, however, is quite large. I don't understand sizing in women's ski pants! They have this weird belt-thing inside in the back that makes the waist fit better, but the price is a bunched up waistband. I'll still use it, though. Overall, these seem like great if oversized ski pants, but the proof will be on the hill.
By Dorothy Porker from Northeast on 11/21/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for function winter pants - waterproof, warm, and breathable. These pants provide all of that and look very stylish (without sacrificing comfort) compared to most of the other winter pants that make you look like a walking snowman.
Nice but not correct color By QueenCaffeine from Twain Harte, CA on 11/21/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered these pants and then returned them because the color was not as it appeared on the website. Also, the fabric is checkered rather than solid and did not match my ski jacket.
I'm sure the product will serve others well. Just wasn't what I wanted.
excellent quality for a great price! By temonkez from Melbourne, Australia on 05/18/2008 Describe Yourself: Getting Started Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: According to the generic sizing guide supplied for columbia wear, these pants should have fit perfectly - unfortunately they seemed much bigger than stated. The next size down would have been better.
By mstone from cardiff on 04/22/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Generally fits well (a bit big in the waist). Like the pockets. Real comfortable.
Would definitely recommend By mom2three from Southwest Colorado on 04/07/2008 Pros: adjustable waist, cute, Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants are great! I am 5'6" and 107 lbs and generally wear a size 2 (though some 2's are quite roomy). I got the xs. The length was perfect. The waist was a bit loose, but it has velcro tabs attached to elastic at the back, which can adjust it down by a few inches, to get a perfect fit. They can also be belted. I wore these downhill skiing, and never got cold, but looked fashionable. They have a flower design stamped on some of the pockets, and there are plenty of those. I got the winter white, which is actually off-white to me. Overall, I love them!
Great value for the price By Jan from Manitou Springs, CO on 02/29/2008 Pros: Lots of pockets, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Snow skiing, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Perfect pant to go with my blue and white ski jacket. I looked at many other brands that either didn't fit right, were the wrong color of white, or were too expensive. These Columbia pants fit great—not too loose or baggy. Very nice detailing at the waist and I love all the pockets!
