Great deal!
By The Skier's WifeVerified Reviewer from New Hampshrie on 12/22/2008
Pros:
Comfortable, Warm
Cons:
Bulky
Best Uses:
Downhill
Describe Yourself:

Gear Usage:

Inseam:
Feels too long
Waist:

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
We knew the length was going to be wrong, but chose to shorten. It was fairly easy to do so. The legs seemed bulky and full, so we altered those also. But for [$] my husband got a top-notch pair of ski pants. You can't beat that!

I can't provide an adequate review for the item, as I did not actually wear it, but I will try to help based on my experience. I ordered these pants in size medium, Grey Ice color. When I received the item, the first thing I noticed was that the actual color of the pants was much darker than the picture they had online. The second problem was that these pants were a bit on the bigger side for the size. There are solutions to these problems however. First, make sure you look at multiple "real-life" pictures if possible of the product color you are going to buy, make sure the manufacturer is right for you, because all have their unique sizing measurements. I can personally vouch for the reliability of the Columbia name because that is all that I have used for skiing so far. The omni-tech used in this pant should hold up just fine. I have an omni-tech softshell jacket and it does great with fending off any liquid, and it has great breathability. Ultimately, though I returned this item[...]

Great idea with the upper part being fleece lined but they are too bulky and don't fit properly. The cut is horrible.

Skied all day in 'em - the pants were plenty warm in the colder morning runs but weren't too warm as the temperature increased. Nice pants for the money.
