It's been tested in a really bad weather. I love them. That was just what I was looking for. Warm in cold, cool in warm. Of course you need good clothes under them.
Thin, for rain yes, for Snow NO By Explorer from Seattle, WA on 10/08/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This pant is really just a water proof pant for rain, not snow. It is very thin, not warm enough for snow. The original price states [$]. No way, it is worth $19.99. With 70% off, the pant is still overpricing.
make your legs look like tree trunks By 2ndeffort from Melbourne Australia on 02/17/2009 Best Uses: Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great looking stylish shell pants. Lined with mesh to below the seat and then a silky fabric from there on down. Nice thigh vents and a mid thigh pocket one one side. I normally take a 34 waist so I got the 'L' just to be safe. With the velcro tabs way out these fit OK. If I normally took a 36 the sz L would never do up.
I normally take a 31 inseam, these are waaaaay longer than that. The whole 'pants too long and bunching up around your ankles' look seems to be in vogue atm so it will probably be OK. If you are thin with long legs these will probably be perfect. You will probably want a base layer underneath on cold days though.
