This is IT!!! End of a quest. By Fireweed from New England and Alaska on 06/20/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm thrilled. I have been on a quest for the perfect ski / winter jacket for a couple of years. I have down jackets for severe cold, and I have old shell-fleece combos for the rest of the time, and I've been holding out for an insulated ski jacket I really like. This is it, and I can hardly believe I really have it: waterproof, breathable, pit zips, powder skirt, inner cuffs on sleeves to protect wrists, fleece at chin/neck, handwarmer pockets, subtle feminine embroidery on one side (and I'm not a girly girl, but I love it). Color was my last and optional criterion, so the fact that I love the color is a bonus: striking yet sort of subtle, feminine without being snow-bunnyish. ONE IMPORTANT CAVEAT: This jacket runs really small, especially for a woman with any sort of bust or reasonably long arms. I had returned a medium and a large before an extra large showed up.

Haven't tried for skiing yet but that's the plan! It's stylish and not too bulky but plenty warm. Got a great deal for someone just starting out.
Best jacket ever - on all accounts By Outdoor Enthusiast from Minnesota on 12/28/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Downhill, Freestyle Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Chest Size: Feels too small Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is extremely comfortable and yet stylish. I can't believe how many positive comments I have gotten on this jacket. Pretty amazing for a ski jacket and not a "fashion" jacket. This jacket is very warm, moves well, and I absolutely love the powder skirt and the powder cuffs! They keep the cold air and snow outside, where it belongs.
The only negative of this jacket is that it could use a little more room for women that have developed shoulders and above normal chest sizes.
By K from Bremerton, WA on 11/24/2008 Pros: Warm, Wind Resistant Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Didn't have an iPod pocket which was the biggest downfall to me. This jacket allows for good movement.
