Beautiful but not 1/2 size too small By bitercat from culver city, ca on 02/18/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Durable, Great Traction Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Everyday, Mixed Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i followed the suggestion and bought 1/2 down. They have a full toe box, but it is cut weirdly: the toe box seems to slant, so your toes rub, even though there is room across the top surface of the shoe. I'd suggest you buy your regular size. Only if you have a narrow foot should you size down. I love them, but they are stiff, and I think they'll not stretch enough to be comfy.
By Aspiring athlete mom from Atlanta,Ga on 12/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, At The Gym, Everyday, Grass, Paved Trails Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I debated on buying this shoe since I was looking for a dressier walking shoe. However, family members voted it as so much nicer looking than traditional tennis shoes. It has a lower heel and though not as supportive as the Allrounder First, I added my own orthopedic insert on top of the existing one and it was just as supportive as the clarks unstructured and seem weatherproof. My feet stayed dry in rainy winter conditions and the shoe still looked good. It fits like a glove with thicker socks and can be adjusted at the heel.
