By Watershed Deb from Peekskill, NY on 01/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Multi-Use Best Uses: Everyday/Practical Use Describe Yourself: Professional Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have worn Vasque boots before and, not only do they wear great for my job as a forest scientist in rocky, hilly terrain, but they fit my rather-wide (D width) feet well with good arch support and no hotspots, even during the break-in period. I'm looking forward to the lightweight and waterproof aspects of these boots come spring.

By Plays Hard from Ohio on 11/30/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy On/Off, Lightweight, Multi-Use, Secure Fit Best Uses: Climbing, Everyday/Practical Use Describe Yourself: Recreational hikercamper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear my boots with no mercy, and these boots seem invincible! They've held up with comfort while camping in a downpour in a total mud pit, on a zipline/ hiking excursion and everyday wear out on the town. They clean easily and look cute with jeans or shorts. Warning, though: the site advises to order 1/2 size larger than you normally wear, as these boots tend to run small-- NOT TRUE! I ordered 1/2 size larger to start with and I was swimming in them! Had to return 'em for my normal size.

Another great Vasque product. I especially liked seeing water bead up on my boots after crossing a stream while my feet stayed nice and dry.
By Milt from Peoria, IL on 06/22/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought for girlfriend for upcoming trip to Tetons. These boots are not acceptable for backpacking with 25+ lbs. Gore-tex only good thing about these boots.
Vasque Axis Hiking Boots for women By springshiker from Colorado Springs,CO on 06/11/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Cons: Top hook hard to lace Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear them every day with insert supports due to arthritis in my feet and very loose ankle ligaments. High top boots are the only shoe I've found that works and I hike, bike and live a very active life. Vasque has a shape that comforts vs hurts my usually hurting feet.
