By happy in the hills from Rapid City, SD on 04/15/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't taken these out on the trail yet but will be doing so in May. I've been breaking them in because I think that's the best way to do it. However, I must say these are such great boots that I don't think I really would have needed to break them in. I haven't had a single run or blister or sore. The ankle support is fantastic, they have good arch support, room for your toes, and I've found out that they are indeed water proof. My husband is jealous because now my boots are the nicer ones. We got such a fantastic price on them, though! I'd tried these on at a local retailer and almost paid triple what I paid for them at STP. And they shipped to South Dakota in 1 day! Amazing.

They look great and seem well constructed.
