He is at the beginning of that sizing range, but this was just too big, especially the chin strap. Also, without the dial adjustment in the back (found on most new helmets now)we just couldn't get the fit right. If you're squarely in a size this should work fine for you. Nice looking and a fantastic price.

They are comfortable, warm, and worked well with goggles. However, they were difficult to adjust. This didn't seem to be a problem since it fit well for my kids without any adjusting.
