By A little boy's mom from Greater Washington DC area on 12/03/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easily Adjustable, Nicely padded chin strap, Protective Cons: Could be cuter, Strap maxed out on adjust Best Uses: Downhill, Skiing, Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Our 6 year old started skiing last year and we got tired of renting a helmet for [$] a pop. This helmet fits him really well and he likes it, which means we can enjoy skiing without worrying. It looks very well constructed with the padding and the padded chin strap. The buckle is skin-clip proof but could be bigger for gloved hands.

Good coverage, light, long chinstrap By David in Kenai from Kenai, Alaska on 04/15/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Value, High Quality Best Uses: Skiing, Sledding Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Size XS fits our 3 year old and size S fits our 8 year old (both have bigger than average heads for their age). But the chin strap is surprisingly hard to shorten enough.
The goggle strap indent/retaining strap works well.
Looks good, adds some warmth, okay without a hat down to 20F, maybe 10F. Any colder and I'd want a helmet-liner layer inside.
