By NancyD from Vista, CA on 01/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Made really well, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This boot is made of gorgeous leather, and it's an Earth Shoe!!!! The most comfortable of any shoe, in my opinion. The leather is as soft as a blanket. The zipper makes it very easy to get on and off. The boot can be worn to the knee or folded over for style. The negative heal allows me to wear these for 12 hours and forget I have them on.
By Kamanjah from Calaveras County, CA on 12/31/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable, Stylish, Well Made Cons: Not the warmest boot Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered these in a 10 because the Cypress Hiking Boot and the Orbit boot in a 10 both fit well. I wear these with thick warm wool hiking socks and they're still a bit loose. One great thing about Earth shoes though, your feet just find their place in the shoe and settle in. These don't rub at all. My feet got cold last night in 38 degree weather, the Orbit has insulation and is much warmer, but isn't at all dressy. Sometimes I'll wear crew socks under the hiking socks and the fit is snug, still working on finding the perfect sock combo. These have very wide calves and can't be worn under pants, they have to go over. But, I like that look with jeans and I love these boots.
Comfortable...if you order 1/2 size down By Origamian from Northern California on 12/30/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They have become my new favorites. These boots are attractive and easy to put on and remove. I had to order 1/2 size smaller than usual with Earth brand.
By Sierra shoe shopper from Northern California on 12/29/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable, Warm, Well Made Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are made for walking! And I get lots of compliments on them. I wish I had bought an extra pair but my Earth boots and shoes last a long time. They look equally good with skirts and jeans and are extremely comfortable.
By Jess P*ssy Pirate from Ann Arbor MI on 12/17/2008 Cons: A little long narrow Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Going Out, With clam diggers cute Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Rocker-chick, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Okay, so this boot is long and narrow, but seems overly large in the heel. I am not sure what kind of foot this would fit best. I have low volume feet, size 8 true, but these seemed really tight at the metatarsals and big in the heels, and long. If I went smaller I was afraid of getting too narrow.. I put my orthodics in and am 90% satisfied. They are extremely cute and buttery soft. Not good for going to rock shows though, they can get torn pretty easily in the toe by sharp objects. They fit like most earth shoes though, long and somewhat narrow.

By Lovavette from North Carolina on 12/12/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Well Made Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been looking for a flat boot, I have earth sandals and love them, my posture is improved with the reduced heel. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a very comfortable, soft boot.
By Azlabz from Scottsdale, AZ on 12/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Stable Cons: Stitched folds flimsy, Very thin leather- Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Old hippie Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the fit and feel of the boots and they don't need breaking in- The only real drawback is the very thin leather and the stitched in folds- just seems kind of flimsy- like pulling them on will pull out stitching and tear the thin leather. The short zipper at the ankle helps with putting them on- but still feel like I have to be careful pulling them up. The wide toebox and shape of foot is great for my morton's neuroma and they are very comfortable- even when standing or walking all day. I wear them with long skirts for work and with jeans for all day comfort! I'm short (5 ft ) and they don't come up to my knee- but I like how they look with cuff up too- then they are about to my knee. This is my 3d pair of Earth Boots from Sierra Trading Post and I'd never buy them full price but LOVE getting them at the Sierra Trading Post price!
By LG from Michigan on 12/06/2008 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: [...] the boots just did'nt fit right. The left boot was perfect & the right boot was wide. It felt & looked as if it had already been worn & broken in. Very wierd so unfortunately I had to send them back. :( The leather felt really good though !! It's soooooo soft !! And I love Earth shoes usually, just not this time.
