By Yogabones from North East PA on 06/24/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a big fan of the Earth brand, with a pair of sandals and and a slipon style in my closet. I can walk all day in the slipons but I have not found the same comfort level in these hiking boots. The fit is true to size but I don't believe they are rugged enough for serious hiking, nor for work in the vineyard as I have tried them.

Great for general purpose By Alaska Gypsy from Alaska on 06/15/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They felt a bit tight around the toe at first, but it felt better after a bit. Had trouble with the top back rubbing my ankle when driving, due to the foot angle, but I pounded it out with a hammer and it's no trouble now. Great for 4-wheeling and hiking around villages in Alaska. I need the negative heel for my back, so I only wear Earth shoes now.
Too soft for serious hiking By Char from Au Sable Forks, NY on 06/02/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This boot seemed too soft around the ankle area to be of any serious use on hikes here in the rocky Adirondacks. I only tried it around the house, as I did not want to soil it, but it was too small all around.
