The heels are a bit loose on my feet, the same as with another pair of Stoneflys I own. That can be improved with silicone heel grip pads. I do like significant cushioning of the footbed but it seems marginal in these shoes. I may not be able to wear them as much as I would like for extensive walking . With these comments in mind, I would recommend them.

I wear a 7.5 so a 38 should fit but it was too big. I didn't want to risk the hassle of a 37 being too small, so I returned the shoe.

So I stretched them a bit with a wooden shoe tree. That seems to have done the trick, and I can wear them comfortably.

Yet I find that I wear these kind of shoes, casual but stylish, for everyday wear in the US. The shape is flattering, particularly to my overlarge size 11 feet. While I identify myself as comfort driven, I am also concerned with style in the sense of how one presents rather than what is popular or in-style.
