By Havin' A Blast from Davis, CA on 03/11/2009 Pros: Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket was almost great, but the front zipper has some sort of defect. It invariably catches half-way, and it's a bit of a struggle to zip it all the way up. If you can get a jacket from this line with a functional zipper, you're golden - the jacket is fabulous. Soft, waterproof, functional, lots of features. Too bad the zipper is messed up.
By Erin from Colorado Springs on 12/15/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Warm, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the way this jacket fits and feels. It's warm even in 35 MPH winds on the top of Vail Pass! The only disappointment was when I opened the box, the color wasn't quite what I saw on the computer...it's pretty bright! No one will lose me on the slopes!

Just what I was looking for! By Mountain Girl from Colorado Springs, Colorado on 11/07/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I finally found a jacket that fits me. I am tall and this jacket fit in body and arm length. I did order a size larger than usual but it fits perfect!
By gabbeau from Canada on 08/14/2008 Pros: Lots of Pockets, Removable powder skirt, Roomy hood, Thumbhole microfiber cuff Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country, Waiting for winter Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Seems like a great coat, haven't had the chance to wear it yet, since its still summer time. It is a relaxed fit though, so there's room for layering which is good. I like the microfiber cuffs, but I'm wondering if they'll interfere with wearing mitts. The hood brim is kinda flimsy, but the hood itself is adjustable and has enough room for a helmet. Would have liked some velcro/buttons to keep the zipper flap in place.
By LL from Washington, DC on 05/13/2008 Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got the jacket after ski season, so the jury is out on its ability to fight the cold and wet. Nonetheless, the jacket is very attractive and appears quite well made. Fits very comfortably; not too loose, not too tight. Nice cut.
Best product - can't beat Obermeyer gear By Shelby from Australia on 05/06/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Lacks air vent zips, Not Enough Pockets or Features Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Skiing/snowboarding, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the look of this jacket and particularly love the length. If you are short waisted it's perfect and feels very comfortable on. I'm usually a size 10-12 but got the 8 so I found the sizing a little larger than I would normally get.
By Big Mountain Gal from Lafayette, CO on 04/09/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Lots of Pockets, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a couple of other Obermeyer jackets and have been consistently pleased with the durability, stylish fit, and abundance of features such as a cell phone holder, numerous storage pockets & attached goggle lens cleaner. Just pay attention to the "relaxed fit" in the ad as it truly is. I'd prefer the fit was more streamlined, but over all couldn't be happier. Obermeyer jackets are the best!
