By Ives from Singapore on 10/14/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Bulky, Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love the styling and colours. Wish there were more pockets. The hood is quite large - maybe meant to fit over a helmet? Love the goggle cloth and goggle pocket. Will only try it out in Dec - will give a more updated review then.

By dog's best friend from syracuse, ny on 01/20/2009 Pros: Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used this jacket to walk our dog on one of the coldest days we have had as of late. Stayed very warm - was happy to have the hood and love the fleece cuffs which help to seal the drafts coming in - not to mention that they are cozy. I also love the fabric - it's not shiny - it's like a twill material. I think this is a great quality jacket for the price.
By spomominmotion from Spokane, WA on 01/07/2009 Pros: Breathable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great jacket. Even the inside is pretty! Lots of vents if worn for xc skiing. A bit tight across the hip area, and I don't have wide hips. Otherwise, fits great, colors are great, and very warm.
Stylish and packed with features By Reluctant skiier from New England on 01/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this jacket specifically for downhill skiing and am very happy with it. I'm a tall, broad-shouldered, busty size 14 and it fits perfectly across the chest with great range of movement. Sleeves are nice and long and the inner fleece cuffs keep out the cold. The neck is nice and high - and fleece lined as well - so that with a helmet I am completely covered. Yes, the side pockets are smallish but there is also a chest pocket plus several inner pockets for phone, iPod, and goggles (plus a snap-off goggle cleaning cloth). The insulation seems thin making the jacket feel lightweight, but it is roomy enough to wear a thick base layer and a fleece underneath without feeling tight or bulky. THis is exactly what I was looking for - a stylish, warm ski jacket with lots of alpine features and the ability to layer. Best of all, compared to a lot of ski jackets I tried, this one is streamlined and good-looking.
By Womba Woman from Santa Rosa, CA on 12/19/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Received this jacket just in time for unseasonably cold weather, plus rain and wind. So far it's been great. I bought the lily pad color, which is kind of a toned down minty green on off white. Looks nice. Minor cons: It doesn't have an inside zip pocket, and the hood is a bit large. But, there is a padded ipod/cellphone pocket inside, as well as an open mesh pocket for ski goggles.
By KT from Denver on 12/15/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: insulation is pporly distributed in the jacket. Very little insulation in the back. Not suitable for downhill skiing, even tho Obermeyer has a reputation for decent quality downhill clothing.

By AT from St. Louis, MO on 12/14/2008 Pros: Warm, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The jackets fits well and isn't too bulky. The style is nice and the color is as shown in the photo.
The only thing I don't like is that the side pockets are a little too narrow.
