It's a good size for daily or weekend use. It has compartments to keep you organized but not so many that it makes the bag heavy.

By mctsf from Arlington, MA on 04/07/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, High Quality Best Uses: Family Trips, Long Vacations, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Classic, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Terrific bargain! I can see why the original price was over $100. Very well made of quality materials. Well thought out design with several different dividers and pockets for separating items. On the classy-looking side (as opposed to a day hiking bag, for example). Would be great for family day use around town, to the zoo, etc.; travel use; for high school & college students; or as a commuter bag to work.
By Mom of Two from Albuquerque, New Mexico on 03/01/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Easy To Identify, Good Capacity, High Quality Best Uses: Family Trips, Long Vacations, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Career, Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought two of these for my children, ages 8 and 9. The straps were adjustable and the packs will fit them. The zippers are strong. The size is good. The pack would be great for adults, too, if you don't need the larger size. These are not daily use back packs for school. They aren't really meant for books. They are ideal for airplane travel, day trips, walkabouts. They distribute the weight so well the kids will be able to carry their own gear without tiring.
By Mom of Two from Albuquerque, New Mexico on 02/27/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Easy To Identify, Good Capacity, High Quality Best Uses: Family Trips, Long Vacations, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Career, Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used the large-size backpack for the first time for a convention and also bought two smalls for my children. Fantastic back pack. Balances the weight beautifully. Very strong zippers. Good assortment of compartments. Fit easily under the airplane seat. Easy to get on and take off. Stayed clean. Adjustable straps will fit the kids. I'm looking forward to getting a lot of service out of this backpack.
By Pagosan from Colorado on 02/06/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, High Quality Best Uses: On the Road for Work Describe Yourself: Career, Comfort-Oriented Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband and I have been sent on the road for work and travel to horse arenas and spend the weekend doing business in the arena dirt. He handles inventory control and I handle retail finance. I ordered us one large pack and one small - I don't know what I would have used in their place. The pockets and compartments kept us totally organized and that included lots of paperwork, pens, money bags, file folders, laptop, etc. We are totally organized with the bags and can easily pack them as easily through the airport as we can to the venue. Best money I could have spent for this use and I'm thinking of ordering another so I have one for personal use.

Really practical.
