By G.W. from Raleigh, NC on 06/05/2008 Pros: High Quality Material Cons: Really hot in summer Best Uses: To cover a grenade blast Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are about the most durable pants on the market. The full double front is amazingly strong and will last for years in harsh conditions. Be wary for summer weather though, you may want a cooler pant.
By Ephblum from Amherst, NY on 06/05/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Heavy duty, High Quality Material, Holds Color Well Describe Yourself: Classic Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Picked up two pairs of these as I was intrigued with the cordura front. Have been doing a good deal of chainsawing lately and these pants are perfect. Good for anything involving brushing stuff up against your legs while carrying it around. Kneeling on damp concrete proved to be no problem either as I was changing the oil. I'm surprised no one came up with this idea before. It really increases the durability factor and rinse-off ability by a wide margin. May be a little warm for the summer months, but we'll see. Same Carhartt fit and quality with triple-stitching, etc. Same design as most of their work pants with right hip pockets. Cordura also goes all the way around the lower cuffs for extra protection.
