I should have ordered two!!! By Steve the Horseman from Fowlerville, Michigan on 01/06/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Chainsawing at 10F, Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The laces are more difficult to loosen because the leather pulls to form a perfect fit around the shape of my foot. The best boot I have worn in 20 years. Worn for one month in rugged conditions.
Kamik Brute Pac Boots - Great Product! By Chris from East Amherst, NY on 01/06/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great boots! Warm, light weight and good traction. A little difficult to get on and off until they get broken in - but not unlike any other tall hiking boots.
Looks good, doesn't fit... By . from Seward Ak on 01/06/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These appear to be very well built boots. I returned them as they were far to narrow for me. I can't say if this is true throuought their size range but if you need a size 13 bear this in mind. Too bad as it is exactly what I need at a good price.
By Quick from Colorado Springs CO on 01/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Don't Breathe Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these for work when outside for extended periods. These boots are light considering the insulation and how well built they are. I am thinking about buying another pair as back up. I wear a size 10 and size 10 fit perfect.
By Rob S from Pinetop, AZ on 01/05/2009 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually wear an 11 but ordered a 12. The length was ok but the boots were not only very wide and loose on the top of my foot, but one was much wider than the other. Had I gone a size down to try to get a more narrow fit, they would have been too short. If they fit I think they would have been great-warm, waterproof, probably great for anything wet and in the snow...if they fit.
By Wryguy Andy from New York, NY on 01/05/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I needed a good warm, waterproof boot for inclement weather. And these boots are just that. I found the accompanying product description to be true. I am very pleased with these boots. They serve their intended purpose.
By Desert Transplant from Central IL on 01/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This was a Christmas present to my brother who lives in Chicago and has been wearing the same pair of ratty (un weatherproof) boots for 3 years. He loved the boots when he pulled them out of the box and felt they were super comfy and pretty stylish as well. The light brown was sold out, but the dark brown was really nice--looked like rich, expensive oiled leather. The day after Christmas, we had a freezing rain/slush snowstorm and he takes the El to work. He sent me a text in the middle of the day saying that these were incredibly warm and waterproof and he (being on his feet all day) couldn't get over the comfort. They fit true to size, especially with a pair of smartwool socks on. He did mention he had a pinky toe hot spot, but that was the first day and hopefully it had resolved itself.
