All this warmth yet not heavy and clunky By William Walkingstick from Nebish, MN on 12/18/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hunting in extreme cold, ice fishing, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this product to keep my feet nice and warm while ice fishing and tracking critters when the temperatures drop well below freezing. rugged, lives up to the name By lowbeat from Milwaukee, WI on 12/10/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very hard to put on right out of the box, but the fit was excellent, and an hour or two later the stiff leather began to conform. Hiked 2 miles in 17 degrees on icy sidewalks with a 20 lb pack of groceries... the boots felt solid and stable, gripped the ruts and ice patches, and did not overheat with Smartwool light hiking socks. The sole welts look like they will accomodate Yaktrax or snowshoe bindings. The stiff leather seems like it will wear like iron, but I am not sure how glued soles will stand up to the kind of use I will put the boots through every winter.

By Bug from Illinois on 11/11/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I train my K9 for search and recovery in all weather and all terrain. I've been looking for a boot that would allow me the freedom of moving my foot around freely. I needed a waterproof boot that I could climb uphill, walk on flat surfaces, not slide around on wet pavement/leaves oily surfaces. Something that I could use in all environments. I finally found it!
