By Australian Ski Family from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on 08/24/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket was purchased as a top layer for nordic skiing. It is ideal for this - comfortable, lightweight and warm. Fit is good - my husband is tall and slim and the L is perfect. It has been out and about in fairly bad weather and was up to the task, although it probably wouldn't be suitable for a really wet day.
By Soggymoo from Great North Wood NH on 04/09/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very Snug fit, probably won't be able to layer up in colder weather, great for mild weather or cool weather skiing.

Very lightweight high performance jacket By Skier Wife from Denver, CO on 01/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered this jacket for my husband to wear on warmer days when downhill skiing. It is a stylish, lightweight shell, with great ventilation. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars if because it is so small. He usually wears size large, but after reading other reviews I ordered the XL. It was too small. Also, he didn't like that the zipper zipped from the left side instead of the right.
happy i made the purchase By The must be outdoors guy from Burlington,VT on 12/12/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: ... light weight wind protection over 1-2 layers for cold weather aerobic activities.
Not for the coldest weather By Skate skiing rocks!!! from Copper Country, MI on 12/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been using this when I cross country (skate) ski. This is a nice jacket with the appropriate base layer. It's very lightweight so for very cold weather I'd wear something else. For 10 degrees or above I've been comfortable in this. My one complaint is that the zipper sticks to your chin when you have the collar zipped up all the way, and that's not much of a complaint. Overall very comfortable.
By mrsgonzalves from Atwater, CA on 12/01/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight Cons: Not Warm Enough, Not Waterproof, Not Wind Resistant Best Uses: Jogging, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Jogging, Walking Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: VERY nice jacket, but NOT for skiing. Just a shell, no insulation. If you ski in Hawaii, then it'd be perfect!
